A fine early Tibetan gilt bronze figure of Tara Qing dynasty or earlier, possibly 16th century, cast seated in lalitasana on a double lotus base, the right hand lowered in Varadamudra and the left hand raised to the chest, each holding a flower stem, wearing a dhoti embellished with beaded jewellery inset with turquoise and carnelian cabochons, height 11 cm.
