A Victorian amethyst and pearl brooch, centred with a large oval-cut amethyst with bright purple colour, approximately measures 22.5 x 14.39 x 10.3 mm, set in an open-back mount within a scalloped surround fully encrusted with two rows of split pearls, tube hinged pin and C-catch to the reverse, pink metal unmarked, 3.7 cm wide, total weight of item 13.2 grams.
