A Qing dynasty carved hardwood sculpture of the laughing buddha modelled as an elder with five playful children, symbolising joy and well being, 35.5 cm high, together with three gilt and red painted wooden carvings to include two depicting figures within a temple, and the other modelled as a figure on horseback brandishing a whip, tallest 15 cm high.
