A Chinese ivory carving, early 19th century, finely carved with numerous figures and animals to include Shou Lao and his deer, Lui Hai standing on a turtle whilst holding a string of cash, other deities, figures boating on a lotus leaf, a crane with lingzhi, all within borders of buildings, rockwork and clouds, 26cm x 8.5cm 144.4 grams

Condition Report

A fine 9cm long split, visible on both sides but more so on the rear. Two shallow chips approx 3.3cm long at the top left corner. A well executed item.
