An Arts & Crafts exterior hanging oak bracket bell early 20th century, together with an octagonal wooden 'bulb bowl' planter. Both attributed to Stanley Webb Davies, together with various ephemera from the SWD archive. Provenance: The Stanley Webb Davies Collection. Although unsigned, an identical planter can be seen in SWD's photograph albums as design #26 held in the V&A Archives. Equally, the bell relates closely to other designs in these albums. The bell was used at Gatesbield, SWD's home and workshop.
