William Crozier (1930-2011) Irish Abstract landscape in green, red, black and blue oils on paper, signed and dated in pencil 'CROZIER March 1963' bottom right, framed and glazed. Frame 79cm wide, 100cm high. Note: Acquired by the vendor from The LeFevre Gallery, London, in 1964. Glasgow School of Art educated Crozier uses the deep intensity of colour to convey emotion in his abstract landscapes. He was elected a member of Aosdána (an Irish association of artists limited to 250 members and founded in 1981 by the Arts Council of Ireland) in 1992.
