A good quality late 19th century Indian carved hardwood snap-top table the circular top carved with a frieze detailing a huntsman and various beasts, supported on a heavily detailed pillar in the form of a bird of paradise with outstretched wings, entwined in the coils of a cobra, above a base formed by four heavily carved outward facing beasts, top diameter 75 cm wide, 80 cm high.
