An impressive early 20th century eight section Chinese carved hardwood display stand the base fitted with a pair of drawers below a cupboard with twin panelled hinged doors decorated with carved vignettes of the scholar's table, below an arrangement of openwork shelves decorated with scrolling pierced bordering, the top left compartment with a circular framed border decorated with shallow carved and pierced cloud border, 168 cm high, 90 cm wide, 37 cm deep.
