A Japanese triptych woodblock,print of the Meiji Emporer and Empress Shoken, leaving the imperial palace in horsedrawn procession on their silver anniversary Probably after Kojima Shogetsu (1807-1904) 35cm x 71cm. Together with a triptych woodblock print probably representing the exhibition of Japanese arts with soldiers and Geisha. 35cm x 72cm and a woodblock print of a Kabuki actor in wet weather shoes and one of a frog on a lily pad and an Oriental silk work picture of birds in flight.

Condition Report

The Two triptychs have been trimmed of their margins and appear to have been pasted down.

The print of the actor is faded and has been trimmed and likewise the print of the frog.

The silk work picture has been pasted down and has some ridges to the fabric. and is generally discoloured
