A well carved Japanese Meiji period ivory okimono in the form of an elderly fisherman, his left hand carrying the day's catch, the right carrying a boat paddle, a wide-brimmed hat resting on his shoulders, with inset stained and signed cartouche to underside, 23 cm high.
