A 19th-century oval portrait miniature on ivory, the sitter named verso as Lindsay Russell (1829-1904), 12.5 cm x 9.5 cm in an ebonised frame, together with another, being General Sir Charles Stewart (1753-1801), a copy of a painting held in the National Gallery of Scotland, 10 cm x 8 cm, glazed in a tortoiseshell and brass overlaid frame.
