A 19th century Anglo-Indian rosewood Davenport, Bombay circa 1870/80, relief carved throughout with birds, scrolling leaves and flowers, with pierced and shaped raised gallery above a hinged sloping writing surface enclosing two drawers above two dummy drawers, the right side with a pen and ink sprung compartment, above a hinged door enclosing four drawers with sunken brass handles, with bird front supports above lion mask and paw feet, 102cm high, 64cm wide, 71.5cm deep.

Condition Report
A full length age split to the back panel, but structurally sound. Scuff marks on the exterior rear side of the side door. The top surface by the gallery is faded and worn. Generally fault due to age and use. It looks to have been well used but not neglected. All faults visible on images.
