A Chinese Canton carved ivory fan,19th/20th century, the guards carved and pierced with Chinese figures in pavilions and blossoming lotus flowers. The silk leaf embroidered with flying cranes, peacocks, crickets and finches and flowering magnolia trees. Housed in a red/brown lacquered fitted case painted with Chinese scenes. 35 cm long overall.
