A quantity of 20th century British studio pottery wares to include various vases, bowls, mugs etc by potters including David Leach, Buchan, Ambleside and Sibley, together with various ephemera from the SWD archive. Provenance: The Stanley Webb Davies Collection. Stanley Webb Davies set up his workshop in Windemere (Lake District) and was associated with studio potters in the region. Some identical and similar examples of pottery can be seen in photographs of exhibitions he participated in, including the Red Rose Guild, Manchester in 1930.
