An early 18th-century oak kneehole lowboy with a thin thumb moulded top. Fitted one long frieze drawers over two short flanking drawers each fitted with staple fixed swing, backplate handles. Supported on cabriole legs with pointed pad feet. Probably Shropshire in origin. 75 cm wide x 49 cm deep x 72 cm high

Condition Report

The top is split in two along its joint, and loose from the base, needing repair

The side carcasses has some scroll work missing to the bottom edge

some shoulder blocks are missing from the top of the cabriole supports.
