A Yoruba chiefs staff, Nigeria, the stained ivory finial carved as a kneeling female figure with annulated coiffure, above a wooden shaft with geometric bands and central figure, terminating in a metal ferrule, height: 105cm; a Nigerian chiefs staff, surmounted by two seated figures, the shaft carved with geometric bands and layered spheres, a central figure kneeling tied and bound, height: 103cm; a further staff with seated female finial above a shaft with carved key sections interspersed by ball knops, height: 110cm.
