A mid 19th century, British school, watercolour on paper of 'Skye N.B' (Scotland) signed AWW, 70. The mount inscribed 'A. W, Williams', in a carved gilt frame, together with the original receipt from Montague Misell of Manchester made out to J. P. Davies in 1906. 92cm x 66cm. Provenance: The Stanley Webb Davies Collection John Percival Davies, Stanley's brother, co-owned two cotton mills in Darwen, Lancashire which both funded Stanley and gave him a business background.
