A pair of George III silver tureens and covers by William Frisbee, of oval form, the finial cast as a deer recumbent beneath two trees and the other as a stag recumbent beneath two trees, with acanthus leaf scroll and ring twin handles, decorated with gadrooned bands, 16cm high, 46.8ozt.

Condition Report

One of the stag's antlers missing. The foot to one tureen is creased. The covers do not fit flush to the body.
