Two early Royal Doulton figures, Pierette and Capt Macheath, HN644 & HN464, the Pierette model number 445 and dated 12/21, Capt Macheath model number 323 and dated 2/25, each with black inscribed marks, factory printed and moulded marks, each 18cm high

Condition Report

Some black marks on the top of Pierettes right thigh, but these look to be produced in manufacturing. There are some tiny black marks on the lower side of her right handm but again this looks like a factory flaw, the glaze doesn't feel perfectly smooth on this part. There is a small enamel chip to the left side base rim on Capt Macheath. Otherwise no obvious faults. In the ownership of the current Maidenhead vendors family for many decades.
