Condition Report

The chair is in good serviceable order. It has had some very fine work in the form of almost invisible patches to the top cresting rail to reinstate the channeled outline of the cresting rail. Also the joint of the uprights and the cresting has been fixed but not recently and they have made a passable job of the repair.

I would point out a fault in the timber (looks like a bit of spalting) on the back upright but this is just part of the nature of the timber used.

The arms flex a little bit at the junction of the seat and backs but not to any worrying degree.
