A Napoleon III period black slate and ormolu mounted mantel clock
in the Empire style, with an arched top over a circular enamel dial, bearing Roman numerals and adorned with pierced fretwork swags, 30 day movement striking on a bell, supported by four Corinthian columns over a rectangular base inset with moulded foliate frieze, on four feet, 45.5 cm high x 28 cm wide x 11 cm deep.

Condition Report
Good general condition cosmetically, with some rubbing to edges in places and lifting to the beading. No glass or back plate. Columns all have some movement (i.e. twist slightly). Chime working, but clock not tested for time-keeping accuracy. No key.
