An early 20th century golden oak arts and craft sideboard in the manner of Shapland & Petter, with convex glazed cupboard superstructure and pierced and shaped profile spindles, the base fitted with a central kneehole flanked by a pair of cupboard doors carved throughout with pomegranate and curvilinear panels, fitted with elaborate embossed and tooled cabinet furniture and stirrup handles being the Rd number 888894. Supported on square legs with moulded feet. 183 cm wide x 64 cm deep x 213 cm high overall. 101 cm high to the deck.

Condition Report

The sideboard has been refinished.

The two right-hand legs have started to break at the site of the mortice housings of the frame.

Left-hand side carcass sunken panel splitting at the jointed board.
