A 19th century Russian icon, St Antip shown with a long pointed beard and grey strands in his hair, his vestment is decorated with bold red crosses, he clasps a bible in one hand and has the other raised, Jesus holds a similar pose to the top left of the panel, tempera and gilt on hardwood, 31 cm x 26.5 cm. Provenance: Iconastas Gallery, Piccadilly Arcade, St. James's, London.
