A 19th-century Dutch colonial, Sri Lankan, ebony and teakwood square-topped pedestal table, with applied brass fretworked decoration and a single frieze drawer; on a turned and reeded column with distinctive carved scroll profile cut tripod base. 51 cm wide x 51 cm deep x 75 cm overall height. Together with a similar all-teakwood table.

Condition Report

The table with the single handle on the drawer: The brass on the corners is lifting and will need tapping back down and re-pinning, the tips of the feet have been patched, the drawer fronts have had some holes plugged

The column has an old repair

The second table has a slight twist on the top and the brass is lifting slightly, the frame shows old repairs
