Two early 20th century gold propelling pencils by Sampson Mordan & Co. comprising a 15ct gold cased example, the barrel with a side-suspension ring, a plunge-action terminal and Inscribed ‘E.B.C. Nov: 28. 1917’ London 1915, 7.5cm long, 19.7grams gross but excluding the screw-in pencil; together with a 9ct gold cased telescopic example with a terminal suspension ring, London probably 1910 (marks rubbed), approximately 5.5cm to cm long overall 10.5cm, together with a Rose gold bolt ring clasp, this unmarked, 14.2 grams gross.
