A small collection of kitchenalia and treen to include a carved wooden napkin ring (possibly by Emily Davies, wife of SWD), two horn napkin rings with silver mounts, two forks, a bread knife and sharpening tool with carved wooden handles by the SWD workshop and various letter openers, etc; together with various ephemera from the SWD archive. Provenance: The Stanley Webb Davies Collection. The wooden handled forks, knife and sharpening blade closely relate to other designs in SWD's photograph albums under design #237-A held in the V&A Archives. Stanley's wife Emily was a skilled carver herself, embellishing several fixtures at Gatesbield.
