inlaid with red guilloche enamel, the white enamel dial with blue Arabic numerals, within a pearl border, the case to verso inlaid with a starburst pattern of rose-cut diamonds, within a pearl border, diameter 2.6 cm, the watch suspended from a brooch comprising of a golden feather against a red guilloche enamel shield, with applied fleur-de-lys motif inset with rose-cut diamonds, the feather with a trefoil pearl adornment, unmarked (tests as gold), brooch 3.9 cm long, overall length of piece, 8.5 cm, 30.5 grams. Provenance: from a French lady's private collection at the turn of the 20th century, and thence by descent.
