A George III silver cow creamer. London 1764 by John Schuppe. The animal standing four square with curled tail forming a loop, the punch matted body with a hinged floral cover set with a fly handle. Lion passant mark on cover. 4.2 ozt, 15 cm long x 9.5 cm high x 4 cm wide.

Condition Report

John Schuppe (fl.1753-73) was a Dutch silversmith working in London and was a prolific maker of "Cow Creamers" nothing is known of him after 1773.
