A George III mahogany kneehole desk the top with moulded rim over a long drawer with fully fitted interior and slide, over a kneehole with cupboard door and flanked either side by three small drawers, with brass handles an escutcheons, supported on bracket feet. 91 cm wide. Provenance: Property of the late Dr. William Navin, an Irish decorated WWII hero who was awarded seven medals during the war for saving countless lives as a medical officer for the 12th Warwickshire Battalion.
