A Moorcraft vase by Walter Moorcroft, in the hibiscus pattern, decorated with orange-pink blooms against a green ground features full blown Hibiscus blossoms, bearing initials WM to base and the impressed mark 'Moorcroft', and incised mark 'Made in England'; also bearing sticker stating that William Moorcroft had been ‘By Appointment’ the ‘Potter To The late Queen’. 32 cm high.

Note: Queen Mary died in 1952. This label, denoting the personal patronage of (the late) Queen Mary was attached to Moorcroft items up to 1978 when it was discontinued.
