A large Victorian embossed silver baluster wine ewer and cover, London 1864, by George & Edward Barnard, the hinged cover with floral finial above a body set with oval vignette panels of Wateauesque figures, bearing a presentation inscription, fitted a cast silver grapevine handle, the whole supported on a domed base with lobed foot. 36.6 ozt, 38 cm overall height.
