A 19th Century French antique boulle work tortoiseshell effect mantle clock, having intricate brass inlay scrollwork with gilt mounts, the white enamel dial signed Kemp & Wilcox, with Roman and Arabic numerals, raised on scrolled brass mount feet, 32 cm high.

Condition Report

Some slight lifting to the brass inlay.

The clock winds freely on both going and chiming trains

The clock runs intermittently

The dial is good and free of chips

The clock chimes the half hours with a passing strike

The rear case door has a slight "spring" to it when the door is opened.

The clock has a "kidney-bow" type key
