A Chokwe (Tchokwe) seat of office, Angola, with carved kneeling male and female finials, the back carved with a face mask, above a hide seat, on male and female finial support, with other figures carved on the stretchers either in a boat, on a drum, pounding grain or with rifles, the rear stretcher with a seated figure holding the tail of a crocodile flanked by two further crocodiles, height 79.5 cm.
