A George III silver tankard, the domed hinged cover with leaf and scroll thumbpiece, the scroll handle with heart terminal, the three-quarter skirted body engraved with a monogram, London 1773 by Thomas Wallis I, 20cm high, 26oz.

Condition Report

The tankard shows signs of wear throughout. There are multiple knocks to the skirt foot; also dents to the hollow handle. The pin to the cover is a replacement and there has been repair to the cover, including patching up splits. The central monogram is somewhat rubbed. The hallmarks are crisp and clear.
