An Arts & Crafts style oak tall boy / secretaire by Stanley Webb Davies the upper section with panelled doors concealing six adjustable shelves on dowel pegs, with two further removable paper trays. The base with fitted secretaire drawer above two short and one further wide drawers. Raised on four octagonal shaped legs. Signed SWD , Ernest John Oldcorn and Fred Ellison, dated 1954.  97 cm x 48 cm x 171 cm, together with an original photograph of the secretaire in the SWD workshop and various ephemera from the SWD archive. Provenance. The Stanley Webb Davies Collection. The reverse of the photograph accompanying this lot identifies the design as #1799 which can also be seen in the V&A archives.
