‘柿右卫门’ 盖盒一件,18世纪中期, 及碟四件

A Kakiemon box and cover, mid 18th century, of bun form, enamelled and gilt with flowers; a saucer dish with prunus, fuku seal mark; a fluted dish with a couple amongst floral sprigs; a small early Kakiemon dish, and a kakiemon style tea bowl (possibly Liverpool), box diameter 12.5cm

Condition Report

The circular box has been broken in two and repaired, the gilt loop handle has been restored. The prunus saucer dish has a small but poor kintsugi repair. The small kakiemon dish glaze is very crazed throughout and there is some staining on both sides. The fluted dish has been broken and glued. The possibly Liverpool tea bowl is in good condition throughout.
