A pair of Arts & Crafts style wooden candlesticks of octagonal form with copper mounts, together with a wall mounted tray on swivel bracket and a fire toasting fork/stick with initials S and E, as well as various ephemera from the SWD archive. (4) Provenance: The Stanley Webb Davies Collection. Although unsigned these items relate closely to other designs made by the SWD workshop, including another pair of candlesticks in the V&A under design #855. The initials on the toasting fork are for Stanley and Emily and this was used at their home, Gatesbield.
