Two studies of insects, early 20th century zoological watercolours on canvas-lined paper Tinea Tepezala and Eristalis, both marked KCL, 88 x 67 cm, from a collection of over 60 unframed zoological and anatomical paintings, originally used in scientific departments within Kings College London. Proceeds of sale from this collection kindly being donated back to the university by the vendor.
