The Nancy Fouts Studio Sale
Nancy Fouts (American, 1945-2019) and Malcolm Fowler (1943-2012), 'Vincent Vase', pre-1990. A stoneware vase painted to simulate the famous vase in Van Gogh's Sunflowers paintings. Hand-painted and inscribed 'Vincent' with impressed RW and Fouts & Fowler stamps to the base. 17.5cm high.

As per the photograph this was originally designed as part of an advertising campaign for Kodak film.
Fouts & Fowler was based at 30 Tottenham Street, London W1, and was co-run by Nancy's then-husband Malcolm Fowler (1943-2012).
