Studies of insects in differing stages of development, early 20th century zoological watercolour on canvas-lined paper Dicranura Erminea, Asilus Metamorphoses and Myrmeleo Formicaria, all initialled KCL, each approximately 88 x 67 cm. From a collection of over 60 unframed zoological and anatomical paintings, originally used in scientific departments within Kings College London. Proceeds of sale from this collection kindly being donated back to the university by the vendor.
