A detailed study of the anatomy of a sea cucumber and another of a crustacean, early 20th century zoological watercolours on canvas-lined paper Gammarus and Holothuria Echinodermata, signed ' J R P', each initialled KCL, both around 85 x 66 cm. From a collection of over 60 unframed zoological and anatomical paintings, originally used in scientific departments within Kings College London. Proceeds of sale from this collection kindly being donated back to the university by the vendor.
