After Sir Henry Raeburn RA (1756-1823) Scottish Portrait of Archibald Montgomerie, 13th Earl of Eglinton, 1876, pastel, by Lady Alexandrina Charlotte Durrant (1836-1919), glazed and in an oval 19th century carved wood frame (repainted), inscription in brown ink to verso, 69 x 62 cm.  nb: Lady Durant undertook this work, a detail of Raeburn's original (currently housed in Upton House, Warwickshire), at Beaufort Park in 1876, the year after her husband died. It is her only known work.
