An early 1960s West German Ceramano 'Koralle' jug designed by Hans Welling in 1961, the angled jug form with dripped orange mottled glaze with yellow and green undertones and thin reddy black vertical streaks, the base inscribed '272 Koralle Ceramano W-Germany', 24cm high. Art pottery Ceramano's 'Koralle' decor is similar to Otto Gerharz' landmark 'Vulkano' glaze for Ruscha, released in 1959.
