Martyn Brewster (born 1952) British 'Beauty and Sadness' 1997, triptych, abstract oil on canvas, 86 cm x 86 cm, 149 cm x 86 cm, 86 cm x 86 cm. Brewster studied at Hertfordshire and Brighton Colleges of Art, graduating with an MA in 1975. He has exhibited throughout the UK, France, Spain and the USA; and his work is in numerous public and private collections throughout the world. In 1997, his work was the subject of a major travelling retrospective exhibition launched at the Russell Cotes Gallery in Bournemouth.
