A pair of George III carved and pieced mahogany "Chippendale" style side chairs with bow-shaped cresting rails above distinctive splats and drop in serpentine seats. Raised on cabriole and claw and ball supports. Possibly Scottish.

No apparent major defects
Just a thought, but the front seat rails seem to be of a later used species of mahogany.
