Gucci - 'Flora' silk square scarf, illustrated with botanical and insects on a cream ground, designed by Vittorio Accornero de Testa, signed 'V. Accornero', rolled and stitched edging. Approximately measures 86.0 cm across.

Rodolfo Gucci commissioned Accornero to design an original scarf as a gift for Grace Kelly, Princess of Monaco, after she visited the Milan boutique in 1966. The print is made up of 37 vibrant colours on a white background. The 9 bouquets shown are made up of lilies, ivy, poppies, cornflowers, daffodils, buttercups, anemones, tulips and irises. With a range of insects including butterflies, dragonflies, bees, butterflies, beetles and grasshoppers.
