Condition Report

The mirror frame has some signs of re-touching but I don't think the whole frame has been re-gilt, the bole on the reverse of the mirror looks in keeping with its suggested age and origin.

The mirror plate is NOT a mercury plate and to me looks like an old replacement, it has some small deficiencies, see the extra images for clarification, the backboard of the plate is a replacement probably done when the mirror plate was replaced.
