A South African Ardmore Studio pottery table centerpiece, with central bowl on bulb-shaped column, flanked by two further bowls supported by stylised mermaids, the based decorated with fish, painted in polychrome enamels, 33 cm high x 28 cm diameter, dated 1997 with artist details to base, together with a similar single bowl, 8 cm high x 15 cm diameter, dated 1999.

Condition Report

A shrinkage/ firing crack to the base of the main item near the central column.

A tiny shell chip and some very small glaze chips to the rim of accompanying bowl

One of the mermaids tails has shrunken away from the central column during firing on the main object.
