A Japanese Katana, probably late Meiji, 19th/20th century, with blue cord lashed ray skin tsuka and pieced iron tsuba, the blade with a cloud/mountain form hamon, and a simple black lacquered saya the tang bearing kanji for Bushu Jyu Masashige, 92 cm overall length with saya x 60 cm length of blade.
