A spectacular Cartier Kashmir sapphire and diamond flower brooch, circa 1930s, designed as a single bloom of cherry blossom, set to the centre with a cushion shape Kashmir sapphire with an intense true blue colour, with an estimated weight of 7.00ct, measuring 11.7 x 9.9 x approx. 6.5mm (depth not accurately measurable), the petals set throughout with old cut diamonds, each with a large old cut diamond to the centre with an estimated weight of 1.50ct to 2.00ct, the brooch with a grand total estimated diamond weight of 16.00cts, signed 'Cartier London' to the reverse, with a sprung double pin fitting. Total weight 20.8g. With a GCS report stating Kashmir origin, natural sapphire with no indications of heat treatment.
